Books & Baking: Grades PreK-4th
Calling little chefs and bakers! This one-week camp we will read story books involving food and bake the popular treats in them. Such as Pete's Pizza and create our own Pizza's, If you give a Mouse a Cookie and bake delicious cookies, and many more! If you like to cook/bake this is the club for you! (club not suitable for children with food allergies as accommodations can't be made due to shared equipment).

Vinyasa Yoga: Grades 9th through adults
End your day on a relaxing and positive note, and join me three times a week for a slow moving Vinyasa yoga practice. We will focus on matching breathing techniques and movement, as well as exercises that promote strength, flexibility, and balance. Open to all levels of practice, from beginner to advanced, yoga is beneficial for anyone and everyone. You will leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. Open to teen as well as adults. Jill Chickedantz is a Certified Yoga Instructor with a background in slow flow Vinyasa yoga.

"Grow, Taste & Give": Grades 6th-12th
Students will learn how to start and maintain a raised bed garden, interact with a hydroponic tower garden, and cook with the fresh vegetables they grow. Students will develop soft skills (I.e. leadership, patience, teamwork, etc.) and grow in their personal wellness – physically, socially, and emotionally. Depending on the crops' yield, students will have the opportunity to help prepare food for the local food pantry.

Powerhouse Mat Pilates: Ages 15+
This 10 session class will be structured around strengthening your core muscles to create long lean muscles.  Pilates can improve physical performance in a sport, relieve aches and pains, better your posture, and empower your mind and body to become stronger. Amy Ertel is BASI certified and trained in mat Pilates.  Participants will need a mat and 1 or 2 pound weights.

Fun With Photography: Grades 6th-8th
Kids will experience the fun of photography through exploring creative composition and hands-on learning. Each day we will stretch our imagination and our knowledge as we tackle new settings on a DSLR camera. By the end of day three, kids will know how to take a picture in manual mode, understand lighting for taking outdoor portraits and be inspired to creatively look at the world through a lens. (DSLR camera required, drinks and snacks provided).

Gardening With a Spanish Twist: Grades K-4th
If you're seeking summer camp options for your kids, consider cultivating their interest with gardening, while learning some gardening Spanish words. This is a great option to spend their summer days.

Kindness Camp: Grades 3rd-5th
Campers will spend their time completing Random Acts of Kindness in the Zionsville Community and nearby Indianapolis. Community service providers, animals, the environment, the campers and others in need will benefit from the random acts. Some acts will be big, others will be small but the goal is for our campers to experience the joy of helping others and be motivated to continue random acts of kindness in their everyday life. Campers will have one field trip to Wheeler Mission in Indianapolis.  All supplies will be provided along with two snacks a day. Campers need to bring a sack lunch, bug spray and sunscreen. Campers also need to dress for the weather because they will be outside for several of the activities.

Camp Invention - Fast Forward: Grades K-8th
Camp Invention is where BIG ideas become the next BIG thing! Zionsville Community School teachers lead a week of hands-on activities created especially for elementary school children. Campers will invent something new every day as they explore what it is like to be a physicist, engineer and entrepreneur. Campers will dream up and design their very own futuristic smart home filled with gadgets, LED's technology and innovation. They will also launch into the future with their own Optibot - a small self-driving bot that senses changes in light. Exploring the technology behind transportation, children will design the ultimate futuristic vehicle that might one day be reality. Don't miss out on BRAND NEW CHALLENGES. Kids In The Kitchen: Grades K-4th
Kids in the Kitchen is an exciting and engaging class that will familiarize students with basic cooking terms and kitchen utensils. They will learn to create simple and healthy menu items and snacks. They will have an opportunity for math enrichment as they learn about measuring tools and following recipes.  Students will also learn how to set the table, and plan a meal including all the food groups. They will create their own personalized apron and collect all of the recipes we have used in class to create their own cookbook.

You Rule! Run Your Own Nation: Grades K-5th
"You Rule" campers will design their own country, entirely from scratch, during this week-long adventure! They will decide where their nation should be located and map their territory. They will decide how they will rule and organize their government and learn about different types of leaders. Will they be a king or a queen? Empress, chief, president or dictator? They will be inspired and challenged as they write their own laws, design their flag, map their territory and create their traditions! A culture fair and Little Olympic Games will be held Friday to introduce their country to their new friends and fellow rulers!

Chess Power!: Grades K-8th
Do your kids like chess! Chess is a great tool to teach decision making, mathematics and logic. Taught by the Indiana famous Learning Through Games Group that is known for child friendly style! Good for all levels.

Bughouse Chess: Grades K-8th
Do you like chess! Then you will love Bughouse Chess! This is a team chess game that promotes sportsmanship and working together.  It is also extremely enjoyable for kids. Bughouse will benefit their logic and decision making all while being taught in an exciting way by the Learning Through Games Group.

Jump Rope Workshop: Grades 2nd & Up
Jump Rope Workshop taught by the World Champion INDY AIR BEARS Jump Rope Team members. 3-day workshop, 9:00a-11:00a each day. Each participant receives a jump rope to keep. Open to all boys and girls who have completed 2nd grade. Limited to 60 participants (minimum 30). Instruction in single rope skills and double dutch jumping. Please wear comfortable clothes, shorts, t-shirts, gym shoes are required. Bring a water bottle and lots of energy!

Safety Town: Kindergarten
Can your child safely cross the street? Can your five year old use the telephone to get help? These and other positive safety skills-- including playground safety, poison and stranger awareness, basic home first aid, and fire escape -- are covered in the ZCS summer program for children who will enter kindergarten in the fall. 10 hours of safety education in a 4 day summer camp format. Led by professional teaching staff. Videos, skill practice, demonstrations, and special visitors. Safety project daily. Tricycle safety track fun.
